The Effect of Using online ICT Media on The Understanding Of Physics Concepts (Meta-Analysis)
Main Article Content
Abstract
A various studies report different impacts on the use of online ICT media in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to map the results of similar studies that discuss the effect of using online ICT media on the understanding of physics concepts in high school, as well as analyze moderator variables which include media form. This study used meta-analysis methods to combine quantitative data with the aim of calculating the effect size of each relevant study. Researchers conducted a national journal search through Google Scholar between 2013 and 2023. Study results are reported in the form of effect size values, heterogeneity tests, and publication bias. The result of the effect size value of 1.43 was in the high category, and no publication bias was found. The moderator variable test informed of significant differences in the use of online ICT media based on the form of media and the year of publication of the study analyzed.
