Strategic Planning For Vocational High School’s Teaching Factory

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to present the results of a training program that is attended by the Principals of Vocational High Schools in 2021-2022. At the training, the Principal was directed to review the decisions that had been made related to the Teaching Factory in the schools being fostered. The concepts used to cover this research are the concept of strategic planning and the concept of business analysis, which among other things will raise about micro-macro analysis and Strength, Weaknesses, Opportunity and Threat. The approach of this research is descriptive by using the documents of the final project participants as many as four people representing four classes due to high scores. The results of this study indicate that a strategic approach and business analysis can assist principals in considering the potential of Teaching Factory as a differentiator compared to other schools.
